• Over 5 million people in the UK are self-employed or just  working from home, are you one of them?
  • Running your own business or working from home with no commute is a dream come true for many, but it can be lonely and stressful, especially if you have left the corporate world to start up on your own.

  • NoWorkMates.com was started by a group of people who experienced first-hand the isolation of working alone or in a small business. We missed the human interaction and social life of a busy office, the lack of work mates to help solve business problems, and most importantly we felt the pain of trying to source contractors or partners to help grow our business.

  • So we decided to create on online community that connects the self-employed and home workers nationally and locally, combining business support for those that need it, and social interaction to keep the loneliness at bay.
  • NoWorkMates.com is that community.

  • It’s just up to you to get things going.

  • Register for FREE to feel part of a skilled, vibrant, hard-working and social group of people!

The site is split into two forums, work and social, so you can switch easily between the two, alternating business matters and networking, with the all-important social interaction and fun.

When you register, your basic data (postcode, work type, and social interests) will help populate the google map search facility.  So you can see how many other self-employed or home workers live and work near you.   Communicate via the forum, or via Private Messaging (PM), to build your local or national network of new work mates!
